United Methodist Women’s mission is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The UMW at Crescent Avenue Church is open to women of all ages. The Eve Circle meets the 4th Tuesday of the month, Sept. through May. Each month we select an organization for outreach. Such as, The Baby’s Closet of Associated Churches, the YWCA of NE Indiana and The Forest Park Food Pantry.

We have annual projects throughout the year. We sponsor a rummage sale in the spring and sponsor bus trips to selected locations at least twice a year. We also serve funeral dinners and host other church-wide social events.

Each year the UMW supports many organizations within our church and community, as well as to world missions.
