Weekday School – February News 2/14

Well, we survived February’s weather. We can only hope March will be better. We are on our way to Spring. It has been a tough winter on eve-ryone. At least, the children are happy. They are hoping they can go outside on a daily basis.

In March, CAWS will have our annual cookie dough sale. It begins on March 3 and will end on March 17. The price this year will be $14 per tub. Remember, this is the cookie dough that can be left on your shelf for 6 month (I think). It will have the directions on the order form and on the tub of cookies. So don’t forget to see a board member to place your order. The profits will be shared by the classrooms to purchase items. Help us out. It is for the greatest cause in the world – our children.

Also in March, we will have Small Smiles come to the center and talk to the children about dental health. The children will receive new toothbrushes.

We will begin to plan for the “Month of the Young Child”. We will have events all month long. This is a per-fect time to thank everyone who touches the lives of children. We have a awesome responsibility to all chil-dren to ensure that they grow up healthy, happy, with love, acceptance and respect. These children are the future. If we want a better life, we have to start with them, teaching them that they can change the world with the right guidance.

Thank you to everyone who collects Box Tops, Camp-bell’s labels, and all the other items for us. We deeply appreciate your efforts. The children love to go to the recycling room, so they can collect items to create fabulous and imaginative creations.
